Can PEI Create a Sustainable Competitive Advantage in the Ecotourism Industry?

This is the gist of my Honours thesis in the Business Administration Program at UPEI. My major focus wil be on determining whether PEI can compete successfully within the rapidly growing ecotourism industry, given the competitive environment (e.g. Costa Rica, Thailand, etc.), the Island's SWOT, etc.

Has anyone had what they would consider an 'ecotourism experience'? If so, what was involved, were you satisfied? Any and all comments are appreciated!
